Introduced Care Client
Dear Introduced Care Client,
Access to this app for Clients is either for the client themselves, or the client's family.
The way access works is that as a Primary Contact, you will receive an invitation via email to login to Connect.

It is then up to the Primary Contact to invite other members of the family to the family circle for access to the app.

Consultus Connect has helpful and handy features for you. These are outlined in the sections below.

1. How to install the the Consultus Connect App.
Using Your Phone or Tablet
Open your web browser, (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox recommened) on your phone or tablet and go to:
connect.consultuscare.com -then when prompted, select 'Add To Home Screen'
- an icon will now be placed on your device's home-screen.

Using Your PC or Laptop
You just need to open your web browser and go to connect.consultuscare.com and login.

Enabling Notifications
At the bottom of the app, by the app version number, click on:
'Click to enable notifications'.

It will say 'Notifications On':

You can then press 'Notifications On' to manage which notifications you want and which you do not, for example Booking Alerts - whenever a new booking is made.

2. How to add members to the Family Circle - and set access levels
Once logged in to Consultus Connect:

Click on the FAMILY CIRCLE button.

You will now see the Family Circle page (which will show you the list of Family Circle Members if you have any already added.

Click on the ADD NEW button.

Now enter in the details of that person, including first name, surname, email address and mobile number.

You can also select the Access Level - i.e. tick whether or not you want this person to be able to view the invoices and also whether or not you want this person to be able to view the Online Logbook (the care points and activities logged by the carer).

Once the information is entered, click the SUBMIT button. This person will now receive an email invitation to Consultus Connect where they can setup their account.

If it any time you need to send the invite again to a family circle member, just go to the family circle page and click 'Send Invite' - the system will send the invitation email again.

You can also 'Disable' a Family Circle Member's account by clicking the 'Disable' button and also 'Edit' by clicking the pen icon.

3. Enable Care Activity Logging By The Carers
As the Primary Contact, it is up to you to enable, or not, the Care Activity logging by the carer(s).
If it is enabled then you will have access to a real-time log of all the activity the carer logs during the day (and in some cases the night).

Click 'Enable Online Logbook' to switch on the logbook for carers to log care points and activities:

Once enabled by you, carers will see 'Care Point' buttons, which they can press to log care activities and carers can also message you directly. You can see what this looks like for the carer below.

Receiving Messages From The Carer(s)
As well as being able to log activity, the carer also will be able to message the client's respresentatives - all those family members within the Family Circle that have access to Connect. See more info below.

Viewing the Care Activity
For you to view the care activity then click on the 'Online Logbook' button from the main screen. You can select a specific booking or use the date range. See more info below.
4. View Carer Bookings
Once logged into Consultus Connect, click on the VIEW BOOKINGS button.

Bookings can either be displayed in List view or Calendar view.
​
Click on a booking to view the Carer Profile information.
5. View Invoices
Once logged into Consultus Connect, click on the VIEW INVOICES button.

Click on the mail icon to send an invoice to your email address.
6. Contact Us (Consultus)
Once logged into Consultus Connect, click on the CONTACT US button.

You can now submit a message directly to the Consultus Office.
7. View Care Points & Care Activities
Once logged into Consultus Connect, click on the Online Logbook button.

You can now view, by date, all the care points and activities submitted from the carers.
PLEASE NOTE - this button will only be available if enabled by the Client Primary Contact. Please see section 3 above.
8. Message Carer
Once logged into Consultus Connect, click on the MESSAGE CARER button.

You can now submit a message which will be emaield directly to the current carer.
9. Shared Calendar
The calendar shows bookings as well as any entries added by the Carer or Family Members that have access to the calendar.
You may for example like to add an entry for when you are next visiting the client.
The calendar looks like this:

Colours & Categories
The colour of the calendar entry is based on who entered it:
Bookings = RED
Carer = BLUE
Client/Client Family = PURPLE
When you add an entry, you can select 'Category'.
This can be one of two things:
At the client's home
At another location
These display a different icon on the calendar: (a house and an arrow).
